Begin with mountain gorillas in Bwindi's misty rainforest, then head north to Kibale for a dawn chimpanzee trek among 13 primate species. In Queen Elizabeth National Park, cruise the Kazinga Channel and search for tree-climbing lions draped across fig branches in the Ishasha sector. Continue to Murchison Falls, where the entire Nile crashes through a seven-metre gap, and explore the Buligi peninsula for Rothschild's giraffe, lion, and the elusive Shoebill stork in the delta papyrus. The final stretch loops through Lake Mburo's zebra-dotted savanna before returning to Entebbe.
